In the spirit of the Beatles, we all really do "...get by with a little help from our friends." This section is dedicated to furthering the network of creative folks we are blessed to know. In the space below, you will find information and links to our friends that help make the world a little better. These are people with whom I would love to pile into a bus and travel the country/world. In my dream of this, we simply create and promote creation. Do us and yourselves a favor, click on the links below and check them out.
Lydia Gravis is a very gifted photographer and artist. She has an eye for beauty in the sometimes otherwise mundane. She'll shoot your wedding, your band, your family, whatever you like, and she'll make you look better than you are. She took our band photos and if you've ever met us, you know we are not that handsome.
Aaron Sanders is my older brother and someone for whom I have huge admiration. He is a published writer with two novels in the wings. He is one of the founding fathers of Dead Academics Press and of The Lumberyard: A Radio Magazine of Prose, Poetry, & Music. I envy his ambition. He is extremely skilled at his trade and I look forward to his success.
Nate Pack is a tremendous and humble talent. He is as good a guy as there is out there and I love talking creation with him. He asks me about the creation of music and often offers critique and opinions of my work. I ask him about the creation of visual art and offer opinions and praise. I am drawn to his work. While he is very capable and diverse in his abilities, he often paints music and sports pieces and I love his interpretations. He also created the sketch we used for the Peter Harvey T-Shirt image.
Melody with Tyler Forsberg is a duo with sweet, beautiful melodies framed within rhythmic guitar. Melody and Tyler are a huge asset to the Salt Lake City music community. They have created the Acoustic All-Stars Music Festival that is held each year at the Star Bar in Park City. They have also been instrumental in promoting and building a network of musicians in the Salt Lake area. Giggin' with this duo is always a good time.
The lovely Ashlee Dickson is a talented singer/songwriter whose sound seems to combine both a gypsy heart and a sweet southern drawl. When she digs and sings from her soul, good luck fighting off the goose bumps! More gigs with Ashlee will be a pleasant part of our future as a band.
